WEEK 1

1/11/26-Day 1

My God: Receiving Him by Faith

Hebrews 11:6 (NIV)

“And without faith it is impossible to please God.”

In a world where many people share secondhand experiences, speak of other gods, and multiply opinions with viewpoints that are as varied as they are limited, a common mistake arises: trying to fit a great, sublime, and divine God into the narrow mold of human knowledge self-centered, finite, and lacking true wisdom.

But everything begins with faith. Faith is the essential bridge that allows us to accept and receive the supernatural. Genuine faith, anchored in the true God, opens the doors to divine understanding, revealing realities that go beyond human comprehension. A life of faith is truly wonderful: it not only opens our eyes to the heavenly, divine, and supernatural, but also invites us to live in that eternal dimension where heaven touches earth in everyday life.

Today’s verse, Hebrews 11:6, reminds us clearly: “Without faith it is impossible to please God.” To uncover the identity of God His eternal nature, infinite power, and unfailing love we need that very faith, brought to life through a personal and transforming encounter with Him.

The Bible presents countless facets of God: His boundless holiness, His perfect justice, and His redeeming grace. Many of these surpass human reasoning, because He is a supreme Being, infinitely greater than our limited minds. Trying to reduce Him to our ideas is like trying to contain the ocean in a cup.

As God’s greatest creation, we were designed for this passionate pursuit of Him my God to know His heart, reflect His image, and live in full communion. But the enemy distracted us with shadows and lies, pulling us away from His light. Today, by faith, we return to Your loving arms, ready to rediscover who we are in You.

On this day of fasting and prayer, dedicated to the identity of God and to proclaiming, “This is my God!”, I encourage you to cultivate and increase your faith. Jesus taught us that faith the size of a mustard seed small yet powerful is enough; however, it cannot remain stagnant. It must grow, take root, and become a flourishing tree that provides shade and produces abundant fruit for the glory of God.

Action of the Day

Pray out loud:
“Lord, today I receive You by faith as my sovereign God.”

Then write a personal prayer of commitment and cry out to the Lord:
“Increase my faith, so that I may behold how great, glorious, and majestic You are, my God.”

May this prayer lead you into a wonderful experience where intimacy with Him produces a new identity within you—the identity of a beloved child, an eternal heir, and a living reflection of His glory. And may your heart declare with joy and conviction: “This is my God!”

In Him, you will find not only identity, but eternal purpose.
Amen.

1/12/26-Day 2

My God: Beginning a New Life

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”

I love the beginning of a new year because it creates a strong sense of expectation within us that things will change for the better. And when we talk about beginning a new life in Christ, that longing becomes even stronger, allowing God to begin a glorious transformation within us turning us into a new creation. It is a true spiritual metamorphosis, where we are no longer the person we once were.

However, at times, painful memories from past trauma prevent us from moving forward and growing in this new life in Christ Jesus. They can cling to us like a ghost that binds and condemns us but do not allow that to happen. Christ has forgiven you and cleansed you with His precious blood, giving you new life in Him.

Many people hold on to these memories because of unforgiveness, living bitter and resentful lives that cause them to grieve and suffer as though the pain were still happening in the present. They walk backward instead of looking ahead. That is why it is essential to let go of that painful past and embrace the present and the glorious future God is preparing for you.

In Christ Jesus, you are a completely new person. He has a renewed life for you one that breaks the cycle of suffering and sets you free through the sacrifice of the Cross and the power of the Holy Spirit, healing you fully from pain and from memories that wound.

Action of the Day

Declare out loud: “Jesus Christ is my God!”

Write down three specific changes you hope to see in your life this year, and share them with a trusted friend.

1/13/26-Day 3

My God as Father: The Eternal Creator

Isaiah 64:8 (NIV)

“Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.”

Reflection

Imagine for a moment those childhood school days: fathers and mothers arriving with their children, each with a unique pace some rushing, others calm but all united by a common gesture: an outstretched hand, a protective embrace, a backpack filled with what was needed for the day. That visible connection was more than routine; it was a profound expression of parental love protection from the unknown world, provision for present needs, and a quiet promise of constant guidance.

What a wonder it is to discover that the eternal God, the Creator of heaven and earth, reveals Himself as Father. This is not a distant or abstract title; it is an intimate invitation to recognize that there is Someone infinitely greater than us, yet deeply desiring a close relationship a family communion. Like a potter who takes formless clay and patiently shapes it not to destroy it, but to transform it into a masterpiece. God takes us into His hands. He protects us from life’s storms and provides not only what is basic, but also “what no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” (1 Corinthians 2:9, NIV).

In His identity as Father, He declares: “You are Mine, the work of My hands.” We are not accidents or products of chance; we are beloved children, formed with eternal purpose and destined to shine with His glory.

This truth redefines our identity: we are not mere survivors, but heirs of a Father who shapes us even through our imperfections. On days of doubt, when the clay feels fragile, remember this His hands do not let go. They restore, refine, and reveal what He has always seen in you: divine potential.

Application for Today (on this day of fasting)

Set aside a quiet moment to “discover the Father.” Sit with Psalm 103:13 (NIV):

“As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.”

Reflect on this question:
In what area of your life does the “clay” need to be reshaped?

Write down one specific need protection, provision, or guidance and surrender it to God, trusting that as your Father, He will transform it into a blessing.

Share this truth with someone close to you, reminding them that we are all the work of His hands.

Prayer

Eternal Father, loving Potter, thank You for revealing Yourself as the One who takes us by the hand and shapes us with infinite tenderness. During this fast, help me release my resistance and trust in Your perfect design. May Your protection cover me, Your provision sustain me, and Your presence fill my heart with peace. Shape my life to glorify Your name, as a masterpiece formed by Your hands.
In the name of Jesus, Amen.

1/14/26-Day 4

Talking with Father: The Lord’s Prayer

Matthew 6:9–13 (NIV)

“This, then, is how you should pray:
‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.’”

When we are part of a family, the way we speak to a father must change. That is why Christ, during His time on earth, had to teach a different way to pray.

This type of prayer was not common among the Jewish people, because no one addressed God by calling Him Father. Jesus introduced this as the Son of God; in those days, people did not refer to God as Father in their prayers.

Prayer is an intimate dialogue. Use the Lord’s Prayer to connect with His fatherly heart.

Today, I encourage you to pray this prayer my Father God with the right perspective: knowing that You are in heaven, where all resources are found, where my help comes from.

Action of the Day

Let us pray the Lord’s Prayer slowly, pausing at each phrase and personalizing it with a current need in your life.

1/15/26-Day 5

God Reveals Himself

Exodus 3:14 (NIV)

God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

When we are born, our parents give us a first and last name to identify us in this world. Our name is registered in the city, and we receive an identification number that defines us legally. But God… oh, God is different! He has no earthly father; He lives in eternity, He has always existed, with no beginning and no end. As Isaiah 57:15 says:
“For this is what the high and exalted One says he who lives forever, whose name is holy…”

So that our finite minds could begin to understand Him, God reveals Himself to Moses as “I AM WHO I AM.”

Imagine the scene in Exodus 3: Moses, a man marked by his past a murderer in the eyes of his people, fleeing from Egypt, now shepherding sheep in the desert. Suddenly, a bush is burning, yet it is not consumed. God, in His immense love, does not reject him; instead, He invites him: “Come closer.” Moved by holy curiosity, Moses approaches with reverence.

In this chapter, God defines Himself: “I AM.” These words paint the picture of an eternal, unchanging, indescribable Being. They mean: “I am the One who exists by Myself; in Me is the source of all existence, dependent on nothing and no one.” He is self-sufficient no, more than that all-sufficient!
Jehovah, Yahweh, the God who provides, heals, and delivers.

In this season of Pentecostal fasting, we have learned to cry out, “My God! My Father!” But today we go deeper: He is the Alpha and the Omega, the One who was, and is, and is to come. This fast awakens your curiosity, just like Moses’. The Holy Spirit will reveal facets of God’s identity that will transform your life. Feel the fire descending, as in Acts 2, and allow God to manifest Himself in power!

This time of fasting and prayer is an opportunity to awaken that curiosity to know our Creator more deeply. Through sincere seeking, God will reveal Himself in our lives, showing us His character through His names. Each one reveals a facet of His greatness:

  • YHWH (Jehovah)“I AM WHO I AM”: God’s eternity and unchanging nature.

  • El Shaddai“God Almighty”: His power to do the impossible.

  • Adonai“Lord”: His authority over our lives.

  • El Elyon“Most High God”: His sovereignty over all things.

  • El Roi“The God Who Sees”: His attentive care for our needs and circumstances.

Action of the Day

Today, reflect on how you address God. Recognize and affirm His identity in your life. Bow in prayer and seek His face, allowing the names of God to transform your understanding of who He is. This fast is a time to draw near, letting the “I AM” manifest in every area of your life.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for revealing Yourself to me through Your Word. I want to know You more deeply. Help me to seek Your face during this time of fasting. May my curiosity and hunger lead me to experience Your presence and be transformed by who You are. Amen.
